It was a recently refurbished hotel, nothing too much trouble, recommend. The venue was clean, staff was attentive and caring. The location was magnificent, not too far from St Andrew. You could walk to shops and a market. I slept so comfy in the comfy bed. The food was well presented with plenty of alternatives.

The first floor rooms and reception nice. Our room was ok and clean.
Given a pokey back room looking over yard of hotel when booked specifically a sea view Room, this was however rectified! Dirty windows inside! Shabby paintwork and exterior in bad way. No bar open. Not asked at breakfast how we would like our breakfast cooked and service was awful. Restaurant not open.....and if it was, going on breakfast, cannot imagine it being as advertised on your website!

The breakfasts were well-stocked and hot with toast, tinned grapefruit, and jams laid out for self-service. Perfect central location close to the Indian Restaurant, Beachy Head, Brighton, and the theatre.

no hairdryer in room. Room so small that we had to turn sideways to get past the bed. Very tired hotel in need of updating rooms and common parts. Breakfast was average.

Not a lot really room dirty. Windows dirty.no mirror in bathroom . bedside lights not working .no restaraunts open in evening .paint on doors not enough towls .breakfast pre cooked and cold . windows let cold air in .

The room is well cleaned, warm enough, and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. the location is marvelous and fabulous, so close to the seafront in Eastbourne, a Sainsbury store, and public transport

The spot of this place was amazing, right by the sea. We decided to splurge £10 more for a brand-new room, and it was totally worth it! 🌊 We had a great time in there.
